Default 1.8T Hp increase for 2001...
Can someone please tell me how they raised the Hp for the 2001 models. Also, is the identical engine (pre-2001) used in the 1.8T VW jetta?

Slightly more boost, and a new variable valve timing scheme account for the new ponies, in order of effectivness.

You left off a drop in compression ratio from 9.5:1 to 9.3:1 to help cope with higher boost :-)

Default and the jetta has a transversely mounted engine.. like the TT
the jetta is closer to a TT built in mexico, than an a4

oh yeah, and it wasn't updated for 2001 like the audi, still 150 hp
