one of mine has a tiny crack in it and I brought it to a custom interior place to see what they could do. They said it would be best to replace that panel of the seat and would charge $150 to do it. No idea if thats expendsive or not because thats the only place I went to but IIRC covers from Audi are a lot. I found this post

So, stopped by the dealership and my boys got me a quote. 8D0-881-361-K Padding: List $137.87 My price-117.19 8D0-881-405-BL-GYP seat cover: List $200.71. My price-200.71 Total, out the door-$317.90 WOW!! that's with out labor.
