Default This engine is considered one of the best engines by JD Power and Associates

It's reliable, powerful, fuel-efficient, and fun. Get it.

Default Inside...

A turbo engine by its nature will run for a shorter amount of time than a NA engine. That said, engine failure is not really a problem with the 1.8t. There's a few guys on here with 140,000+ miles. The 1.8t is a great engine, it's been named one of Ward's 10 Best engines for several years. The 1.8t also has a much greater potential for power than the 2.8.. with enough upgrades you can get 320+ horsepower out of it. A $400 chip alone will make it faster than a 2.8.

Default 200,000+ miles on Audi turbo engines are not uncommon

A few on this board has 140K+ and still going strong.

Default Just curious...where did you hear that? I agree that's its a great engine, but I have never heard

of JD Power & Associates ranking engines before.
