Is 17x7.5 a good size? I want to get the Mille Miglia Cellos in 17, but I hear 17x8 is better? help!

I want to get the Mille Miglia Cello Wheels and Yoko AVS Sports from Tire Rack. Would these be a good combination if the wheels are 17x7.5 or should I go for the 18x8???

17x7.5 fits 225/45 17 tires perfectly. Yes, 7.5 is a good width.
