Default 18" wheels on B5 A4 Avant fitment

I have a 98 A4Q Avant and need to know if an 18x8 wheel with 35mm offset will fit ok. Are there any clearance issues i need to worry about? I know the bolt pattern is ok... anything else to worry about? Thanks!!

It'll fit fine. It might rub if you are lowered depending on tire size.

I do have Eibach Sport springs so it is lowered a bit from stock. Will that be an issue?

Default Re: tire size plus sport springs

Here is the tire size... 225/40ZR18 plus Eibach Sport springs and Bilstein Sport struts. What do you think?

Default Should be OK

it may rub on big dips or extreme suspension compressions, but otherwise I think you are fine.

I'd be worried about weight and rotational mass.

Default You should be money. I've run 235/40 and 225/40 on 32 et wheels, only rub some. The 225's rub far

less than the 235's did. Your wheels are ET 35 though so you should be perfect, mine are just a touch too far out, enough to rub some .

4driver4 is right about the rotational mass though. My 18x8 RS4 reps are far heavier than the stock 16" sport wheels. It is actually noticably slower (or faster depending on which switching from/too) when I swap the larger wheels on the car. It is also more unsprung weight, so the car will handle slightly worse over bumps (not to mention will feel worse because reduced side wall)

Even considering the above concerns, I still love my 18x8 RS4 reps and run them 8 months out of the year.
