A 225/40/18 tire (Kumho to be exact).

And in two suspension situations:

1) OEM Sport
2) OEM Sport Springs + Neuspeed Bilsteins on lowest perches

35mm. BPV honking can be mistaked for rubbing, too.

32 with an 8" wide wheel is probably the most, 35 with a 8.5" wheel

Default 35 should be ok

Mine rubbed like a bitch with 235/40/18 on 18x8 ET35, but my car has Neuspeed race with NS/Bilsteins on the lowest perch. The front was rubbing even when I was driving straight at slow speeds such as in a parking lot. I think with 225s and a car not so slammed, you should be ok.

Default I have 18x8.0 with ET32 it's fine, but also depends on what tire you use.

Bridgestone 225 S03 or a regular 235 tire may rub with that offset.

I have no complaints though,I find that the 32 offset looks great and fills the wheel well perfectly, ET35 should also be cool.

Default I had the same wheels and similar wheel gap. I had bad rubbing even after fender rolling

It didn't hit the fender anymore but it still rubbed like crazy on the wheel liner. I had the wheel liner melted and pushed away, and cut parts of it off but it still rubbed. Really annnoying
