Default 19' sportec's installed PLEASE HELP me with Problem though...

I received my sportec's last night after waiting for over 6 weeks due to "Delays" on the part of sportec. The problem is that one of the wheels that I received has a slight bend in the lip of the wheel. It would appear as though the wheel was dropped before the tires were installed or possibly the tire mounting machine got it when installing the tire...I'm leaning towards the rim was probably dropped or damaged in initial shipping before the tires were mounted...there are no marks on the tires at all and they have rim protectors hence it definetly didn't happen after the tire was on the wheel. Anyhow...I thought and thought...and finally mounted the wheels on the car....I put the one that is slightly bent on the front and went for a drive...I got her up to an indicated 100 (remember the speedo is slightly slow because of the increased roll diameter) and it was smooth as glass not a wobble or anything. So here's my debate...what to do...there appears to be all sorts of complications getting product from sportec right now...I don't want to send everything back and wait for a new set, should I demand they order another wheel and exchange when the wheel comes in, or do I maybe just ask for a little of the price to be taken off of the invoice I just can't decide. The idea of waiting another 6 weeks makes me sick...then again I'll always Know that the dent is there...it's not really obvious but I know that it's there and when you purchase a $2500 worth of product you expect it to be Perfect not already tainted. I will post digital pics of the wheel on monday...it's really not bad at all...it's just not perfect. I left it in the hands of Edgeracing to do what they feel is necessary...I'm not demanding anything yet...but feel that some action is necessary. what do you guys think?

Default I wouldn't of mounted it.... and just returned it. If you paid a price, you should get what you

Paid for.

But that's just me.

They won't exchange now that they are installed, for 125 bucks you can get them repaired nicely

Default They shipped out your parts yet? :-)

Better get a tracking #!! I'd hate for the turbo to be laying around with no engine to go on. Wait...will it fit mine?? :-)

I would ask for a new wheel and I would not have mounted it.

Default since you already mounted it...

I would get an estimate of what it'll cost to repair that lip and have Edgeracing reimburse you for it.

Default You can purchase a new wheel, see if Edge will work with you on the price....

Then use the slightly bent wheel as a full size spare.
