Default Hell no...

I did the change at 61k. Updated tensioner or not...I'm not waiting. Better safe than sorry.

The vast majority are, my friend. Problem is, Audi is being quiet and not owning up to it.

Default I was going to upgrade the clutch....but with this and previous posts on the timing belt issue, it's

going in this weekend along with a new thermostat, water pump, Unorthodox UDP, and all belts associated with this tune up.
**** man, I am worried since I got a '99 A4 1.8T with 111000 KM (around 63000 miles). Hope it holds out 'til Friday?!

Default Re: Most ppl change the belt before 90k. They probably should at least update their documentation.
