I checked the Best Buy fitment guide as well as the Circuit City fitment guide and they gave me 5.25" for the front and 6.5" for the rears. Is this right? ...because I saw a Tech Article on AudiWorld and the guy said they were 4" for the front..
Also, the guy said, "The midbass drivers are held in place by three screws in a non-standard way. If you want to replace these, you'll need to build your own bracket." I double checked with Best Buy and the salesperson said it doesn't matter since all they have to do is drill them in..? Ahh, I'm not very familiar with car audio so if someone can clarify this. Thanks.
All in all, I just want to replace my current speakers using the stock enclosures.. and maybe a new deck. Heh. Thanks in advance.

i made a custom mount out of masonite (like pegboard without the wholes) for the rear speakers, which were 6.5", and it worked great. takes some fiddleing with but once you get a good fitment on one side the other is the mirror image.
