Default 1997 / 1998 A4 2.8 model year differences, + supercharger question

Does anyone know any differences between the two?

More importantly PES(?) offers a supercharger for the a4 2.8 but only for 1998+. Does anyone know why the 97 is omitted? Any SC options for the 97?

I only ask these questions because a used 97 A4 is significantly cheaper than a 98 A4 for my money, which is important to me. Thanks all!

Default The main difference is the engine. the 97 is a 12v (172hp), the 98 is a 30V (190hp)

I don't think they have a SC for the 12V engine

Oops sorry for the lame question which I could've just looked up the facts on. Which I did look up, I just didn't notice. Thanks!

Well I guess the 97 is out, gotta spring for the 98+...
