Default 1998 A4 2.8Q 30v Stumbling, any ideas?

I put in dry gas and that didnt solve the problem.

It seams to stumble the most at Low RPMs under load after I have driven a ways. It will skip a little bit, and then if I floor it, the stumblings seams to go away.... any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Default seems dumb but it worked for me.. i had a similar problem..

seems like the RPMs drop down low at idle... for one make sure ur running at least 91 octane gas.. than try to go and get a bottle of carb cleaner.. and make sure it is also good for injectors... that will clean out the little **** that buils up in injectors sometimes. if that doesnt work, you might have some sort of an electrical problem. if the plugs and wires seem ok, replace them newayz and see if that makes a difference. if that doesn't, bring it into a respectable shop to take a look at it. if u decide to bring it to the dealer u want to save for some years, their normal tech inspection rates are from 80$ an hour and on up... josh

What would the coolant temp sensor have to do with it?

What worked for you? Wires? Fuel Injector Cleaner? or Bringing it to the shop?
