My friend is getting a 1.8T A4 from 98 and wants to know what kind of chip you guys would recommend that he put in it for the "Most reliable power"... meaning something that won't blow his turbo or anything but will still significantly increase preformance.
Also, Exhaust and intake if you guys have any good recomendations... (dyno bhp and torque graph pictures would help a lot.).
I've suggested
APR
GIAC
REVO
any others? and what can these do for this engine (150bhp stock as far as I know).
Thanks

You will not gain anything with the intake unless you have a giant turbo or something. He will need to upgrade his diverter valve if he gets a chip, the TT225 DV can be used, its the 710N DV from audi. I would recommend APR or GIAC for the chip, both have good names on this board.

Please E-mail me if your friend is interested. APR chip delivers about 210hp with 240 ft-lb of torque I believe. Check their website.
