I recently purchased an Alpine CDA-7875 headunit. I took it to circuit city and hifi buy to see if they could install it and they said they would have to put new speakers in my car b/c all of the bose speakers are 2 ohm's and the aftermarket headunits are 4 ohms. I was thinking I could take the pre-amp of my Alpine feed that to the amp that is the in the trunk. I dont know if I can do that and I also need the pinout of the wires going to the amp. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

I've heard it can be done, try to go to a good audio shop instead.
