I am new to the forums, and not the best when it comes to cars so I'm looking for some help.

Today while parallel parking I felt an immense toughness/resistance when turning the steering wheel to the right. It seems as if the power steering disengaged. Playing with the wheel some, I only notice the toughness when I turn the wheel to the right, and occasionally when advancing and turning the wheel to the right (hard) it will "stall" and fail to turn fully.

I only notice the issue when turning the wheel hard right.

I also had the steering rack replaced back in April.

Any advice/help? Thanks!

steering rack is bad. I know you just did one in april, but they can be defective.

Also check control arms/ ball joints, tie rod ends.

I had one go bad on the drivers side and the power steering pump had to work a lot harder in one direction. You could hear it.
