1999.5 Audi A4 1.8T manual. CV joint same in auto and manual?
Anyone know if the outer CV joint for a 19995 Audi a4 1.8T with manual tranny. I need to replace the CV joint. One person said the CV joints are the same for both auto and manual, and the other person said the opposite. Any confirmations? Also anyone know a place to get a good deal on CV boots?

you may price a whole axle halfshaft. When I did mine the price was about the same. Then both of your cv's and boots are new. I ordered mine from a local auto parts store took about 3 days and it was a remaned audi unit.
