So these stock speakers are quite possibly the most horrible things I've ever heard in a car.
I just want to pick up some inexpensive replacements on eBay so I can have some decent sounds, instead of the current multi-depth virtuoso fart emulations.
Are there any sizes that will bolt-on or will I need to have custom mounting brackets made?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Can you elucidate?
From what I've read, the stock speakers are 4 ohms. A set of MB Quart 4" RKC110's are also 4 ohms. I don't see how that could be a huge problem, other than the seperate wiring from the tweeter and woofer, but that can easily be fixed.
