These cars have fairly heavy flywheels so they drop RPMs slower than most other cars. If it actually gains revs, try reving the engine when your parked and see if it does the same thing. The clutches on these cars let out pretty high and if your not used it it you'll rev inbetween shifts. I've let friends of mine drive my car and they all rev inbetween shifts by accident because they're used to their cars clutchs engaging right off the floor and the Audis are the total opposite.
