ok i have replaced spark plugs and checked wires and all are good. cam position sensor is good. still misfires only on bank 2 from idle to 1400 rpm. i have also unplugged ect sensor and nothing changed. cleared codes and all i have returning are po300 304, 305, 306.

any ideas from anyone on this??

When did this start? Any chance the cam timing is off on that side?

i dnt know why it would be unless it jumped time. i was driving it came up to a light stopped it stumbled and had a rough idle after that. i had a code for cam position sensor p 1392 and p1522 and replaced that. those codes havent come back since that just misfire codes. cold start it idles up to 1200 rpm its smooth it warms up and the idle is rough. misfires only on cyl 4 5 6.

any insight would be great.

FYI i checked timing removed bank 2 valve cover and confirmed the cam timing chain tensioner has a failed slider and jumped time 1 tooth on the intake cam. there are a few other posts about the similar issue.

the solution is to replace cam timing chain tensioner and chain $800 in parts alone from the stealership. no other damage occurred.
