they are fine. What gives? Car idles at like 1100 rpm for a little bit right after startup, then steps down to 900 rpm after warm.

Default Double clutch going into second until the car warms up...

the Motul 300 helped mine out a lot. It's definitely not as tough to get into 2nd as it was with the old tranny fluid.

Default I have this same issue. I changed the transmission fluid and its a bit better now

It hasnt really gotten cold enough to tell for sure but last winter it was terrible. I was scarred to pull that hard on the shifter so I would get let the car warm up for 10-15min and drive a few laps around the parking lot before I went out on the road. Double clutching was a must for me as well

Default change fluid / skip 1st gear... start in second till she's warm... or

put a transmission heating pan on. Then plug it in at night

Default Try shifting into 3rd or 4th before putting it in first

otherwise try changing trans fluid, put car in a garage if you have one, or learn to live with it

In super-cold, I back into my spot and leave it in 2nd. I can drive like a mile before shifting.

I just changed the tranny fluid to Mutol 300 as well, less than 200 miles on this tranny fluid.
