Default 2.7t or 1.8t swap
i know its a little harder but i heard its possible to swap the 2.8 engine for either the 1.8t or the 2.7t... is it possble? and will the tranny bolt straight on to the 2.7t?.....when i bought my 2.8 quattro the guy that had it before did a s4 conversion on all the body and on the interior. so itll be cool to finish the job. im new to this so please any info will help.....

i want to swap a 1.8 with the v8 4.2 fsi is that possible?

Check the tech section.

I think it's the same mounts as the Pratt & Witney. But probably bungie cords would work.

I wouldn't use bolts I would suggest superglue gel as it's thicker and doesn't drip as much.

Not sure if that is in the tech section but it probably should be. Trust me!

Installing a G.E. T-58 turbine helicopter engine is the same amount of work, that's what I'm doing.

I'm familiar with that option, but the special engine mounts are hard to find.

I believe they are made out of "unobtainium".
