I have the chance to purchase a Remus exhaust for my '99 2.8 at a very cheap price (about $200). Is it worth it, are there any performance enhancements to be had, is the sound a substantial improvement? Also, if I get the exhaust this chaep, I may be able to chip may ride. Any and all comments/advice is appreciated. Thanks.

remus doesn't make exhausts....however at $200 that's a real good price depending on the condition. they go for about $540 each.

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/793/remus_duals.jpg"></center><p>You can not really hear the difference that much from the inside of the car - unless you drive with the windows down - and the sound is so nice you may want to do that more.

The resonator is the real restriction - and removing that will make the car quite loud.

Performance gains can only be had with:

1. the chip (and I really do question them) I think the chip does make the car more driveable.
2. PES G2 supercharger.
