Default 2.8 FRT TRAK uneven ware rotor

My 2.8 99.5 A4 might has a braking problem. I just notice today that my left rotor is waring fast than the right rotor. I check because there is like a pulsating noise coming out of the right front wheel. Even time I step on the brake the brake makes a lot of grawling noise. Any thought on this PLEASE !!!! Don't want to let those dealer giving useless answer anymore. They always say there is nothing wrong with it. The noise is unbarable.

Thanks

Default Sounds like you have worn your pads down to the metal. ...

You may have a caliper that is dragging as well. Are you sure about the rotor "wearing"? The rotors only wear a little over their life--we're talking micrometers. The pads are what is supposed to wear.

the rotors are around 50 bucks each, pads are 50 for a set and I think the caliper is about the same.

Feel around the rotor on its face and back side. If you have deep grooves then you are definitely in need of pads and a rotor.

I would change the pads and both rotors first. If the pulsing returns, I would replace the calipers as well.

good luck.
