2-piece wheels with lip and offset question
I didn't get much of a response on the wheel/tire forum so I thought that I'd ask here.
Is it normal that a 18x8 2-piece wheel with say a 1.5" lip have a lower offset (eg. 28mm) than a regular 1-piece 18x8 wheel (eg 35mm)?

According to this wheel offset calculator...
the outside edge of the wheel will be the same as my current wheels (8.5" wide, ET34) and you put in 8" and ET28 for my new wheel.
I thought ET28 was quite aggressive, I've never heard of a wheel with that kind of offset for an A4.

wheel offset calculator
