Default The N249 is a solenoid, meaning the electrically controlled solenoid is what does the moving.

It still controls the BPV, long story short.

Default your block off plate doesn't fit because you did it wrong

you need to mount it on the back of the head; not there.

If you remove two more bolts and pull that whole bracket off, that block off plate covers the back hole on the head perfectly

Default The resistor should get rid of any codes regarding the pump not being there (open circuit)

The readiness is checked by the o2 sensors.

Default ive been running my car for months without the pump and no resistor.

the only code is "incorrect air flow".

im pretty sure there is no open circuit code on the ATW.
