They weren't effected by the coil pack failure.
But the usual problems will crop up:
-washer fluid bottle pump
-oil dipstick collar cracks at around $50K ($5 part)
-can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

from my experience
I have a 2000 and some of the problems that I had resolved were :
1. the instrument cluster lcd display had dead lines. when you look at the display that shows the outside temperature and mpg and what not some of the lcd lines do not show up. to turn this on/off press the reset button on the wiper control arm and check for yourself. this part costs about $800 to replace.
2. if its a stick make sure the clutch hasn't seen the end of its life.
3. make sure the filters have been changed such as pollen filter and air filter
4. The window regulator on the drivers side window of mine crapped out and had to be replaced
there are no recalls on the 2000 that I am aware of so if you find one in good shape I'd say go for it.
