Well I can't believe that I get no results when searching but I need to replace the center console lid (only) on my A4. How to get the old lid off in order to install a replacement? There are a few posts in the tech area on replacing or removing the entire console but not specific to the lid. Ideas?? Thanks.

I repaired mine. Open it up and then carefully squeeze in on the hinges where they attach to the back sides of the box. I think I did one side and then the other.

You might pry the hinges inward with a flat screwdriver.

If you are replacing it don't worry about breaking the hinges.

Mine had a phone plug wired in so I just cut those wires.

(Okay I just went out and squeezed mine and it popped right off.)
