the parts are interchangable right? Just want to make sure. TIA.

Default The engines are mounted differently...
which suggests to me that the exhaust manifolds might be different.

Default the passat? thought the passat had the same configuration
the jetta/golf is the horizontal mounted engine

Default Yes he did. Actually...
All you need to confirm is if Turbodog's setup is the same. He is FWD so it should be setup the same as a Passat.

Default Yeah, but he used HIS SIII kit.
Which means he had an exhaust manifold for an Audi.

The engines are interchangable...I'm just giving you a heads up about the manifold.

Default Let me double check with my coworker's Passat tomorrow.
I'm pretty sure he has a 2000. I'll have him pop the hood.
