Default 2001 1.8 T HP ratings from owners manual
The horsepower ratings for the 2001 from the owners manual:

170 hp at 5900 rpm
166 ft-lbs at 1950-5000 rpm
Compression Ratio 9.5:1

5900 RPM! Thats almost the redline on the 00' MY has the redline changed for 01?

All mechanical changes already made in 2000 MY (larger oil cap, VLEV)... same engine...

Default R U sure about that? isn't 2001 supposed to have V V T? 2000 doesn't have it.
