I have the option of identical A4 1.8T Q (17") either with sports seats (cloth) or the standard seats in letherette. What do you say? I prefer the letherette to the cloth as a surface (or so I think I do, I just guess that the letherette would wear better and not collect as much dust, lint and hair, not that I wouldn't keep it clean!), but hate to give up the support from the sport seats. Any suggestion on after market seats and costs.(Sport seats are a $500 option.) I'd love to have the leather sport seats but Audi doesn't configure the 1.8 that way. Love to see some links...Thanks all

I have same seats. They're awesome. Just need Recaro stitching in the head rest!

If I was ordering a 1.8T again, I'd get the sport seats, and then have them recovered in leather. As it is, I'm looking for some used ones so I can do the same thing.

I like them too, but they pale in comparison to the real recaros I had in my '91 VW GTI 16v. I'm actually going to buy another set of those recaros used just to put in my A4. They're soooo comfy!

I agree...go for the sport seat and resurface in leather any one got any suggestions where. I am in the Toronto ON area but travel to Michigan quite often.

....the pattern on the cloth is different now versus what I have on my '97 A4. This cloth was referred to as "Jacquard Satin". I think the new Onyx cloth interior has more of a checkerboard pattern.

genius...I wish I'd thought of that. I hate my leatherettes. I always slide off them in corners.
