I've placed an order for a MY 2000 A4 1.8TQMSX and my dealer has informed me that they can now order for MY 2001 cars for delivery in June 2000. Since my MY 2000 would be delivered around May, is it worth the wait to get a MY 2001 A4.

What, if any, differences are there. The dealer said they can get everthing I want still. They don't have any specs though. Also no pricing yet available, but should be close.

Anyone have any ideas they care to share. Is there any info on MY 2001 A4 anywhere on the web?

I need to know by 8pm tonight.

I ordered my 00 a4 1.8t recently, and have been keeping up with the dealer weekly. I spoke to him today and as far as he's aware, the 2001 is not yet available. When I ordered my car, they changed the order of a vehicle they had already requested. So if it turns out that the 2001 model is available, you should have a week or two of buffer in which changes can be made to the order before the car is assigned a build week. Again, I would not even consider ordering a vehicle that I didn't have full specs/options/pricing for. I would think any reasonable dealer would be willing to work with you on changing an order that hasn't hit the 'concrete' stage of processing yet. Hope this helps a bit.
