I am waiting for my new 2001 1.8t with Sport Package and I bought the car about a month ago. How do I tell if the car will have 17" or 16" without looking at the car when it arrives of course. Is there anything I can ask my dealer...

The 2001.5 with 17" sport package has a different manufacturing code: PQT

If your car has the Quattro Celebration package with the Quatto Sports package (key word is Quattro Sports Package) then you will get 17" wheels. I was under the impression that all new A4 1.8T Quattro's with the Sports package were being produced this way. Another way to tell is by MSRP....since the Quattro Celebration package with the Quattro sports package is several hundred dollars less than the Quatto/Premium/Sport pkg(s).

I have a 2001 with the Celebration package, code CPP I think, and 16" wheels, code PSQ.
