You can open the hood in the dark and look for arcing at the wires.

Default Those look to be synthesized part numbers.

Looks like our numbering system but they are not original parts nor are those actual part numbers recognized or issued by VW/Audi. I've never sold ignition leads for the 30v as sets of 3... there are six individual leads with individual part numbers, sequential numbers at that.

I believe that Beru is the OE manufacturer, I've never seen STI markings on anything OE... I've been selling the OE leads for like 5 years now. I've handled more than a few, hell I'll check my stock tomorrow, and a couple of my VW dealerships I've got at least 3 that would be willing to entertain my request.

The likely manufacturers for OE leads would be Bremi or Beru. Maybe Bosch, but STI... not in my experience.
