2001 A4 on Ebay low miles, reserve met at 18K, what am I missing..

Mexico never got the 170hp engine in this A4 so it's a 150hp. more....
I'm also surprised that the car was taken to the states if they could have gotten more money for it here in MExico since that car new sells for 37k usdlls.
Something is fishy, maybe someone can call and find out.
Another thing is that the warranty should be valid in the states but here in Mexico warranties are 1 year with unlimited milage, very ****ty indeed, so they car might be out of warranty or close to it if it was one of the first 2001 to be sold.

Warranty in the US is from AoA. Since AoA didn't sell this car, no AoA warranty.
It's the same for any other product you might buy abroad and bring here. The US distributor does warranty work only on its own products, not those sold abroad, even if they both originally came from the same factory in Germany or Japan or wherever. There was a time not so long ago when such "grey market" goods were a real headache for US distributors. Not so much anymore, I guess.

Puede ser que sea el hecho de que los manuales, las visualizaciones, y el warrenty están todos en español!!! =)
