2001 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro Gas Mileage!

It depends...
I don't know how you drive or where you live, but I can tell you that I too get bad gas mileage from my 1.8TQSTip. It gets better with time... I drive in Tip mode most of the time. I live in Montreal, and I get something like 16-18 l/100km (bad, believe me)! EPA rating for city driving is 11 l/100km (Mwuahahaha!). Since I work 10 minutes from home, I don't mind.
The way they evaluate gas mileage is a joke. Forget it. And I tried, believe me, I tried... I get better gas mileage driving like a maniac!!
On the highway, I get 8-10 l/100km (@130-140 km/h with AC on), much better... My average is 12-13 l/100km 50% city 50% highway. Not as bad as I thought at first.
