Hey guys! Is there anything else small that can be done to squeeze some more hp out of this car?

I have already added the K&N Cone Filter, and the Scorpion Exhaust, what in the heck can you do for low cost???

I didn't want to do the chip because you lose the autoshifting capabilities. Cams are one of the last solutions and maybe a possible throttle Body Mod, but they are very expensive way to go.

I am sure that someone has been able to come up with something.

Any ideas anyone???

Well, PES Supercharger is about as extreme as it goes. Prolly best hp/$ too.

I'm assuming you have a Tiptronic.

A number of people have chipped a tip and are quite happy.

I chipped my manual, and I love it. I've also done the cone, can't wait to do the exhaust. Did you notice a performance increase when you installed the exhaust? Did you already have the cone on when you did it?

I dont know if you got my origional message, but I do have a tiptronic/automatic. From what people have been telling me is that when they chipped the car, the tiptronic would no longer shift when the compter was set to if you pushed the car near 6000 rpm.

My car is a new and has under 500 miles to it. When I added the Cold Air Induction Kit, I could feel a major change in the way the car picked up speen and when I shifted. After I added the exhust I also felt a small difference. I would say that between the both it put about another 8-12 hp to the wheels.

The only thing from here now is to see if I can find any other free mods that I can do. I see a ton for the 1.7 turbo. Any other ideas
