Hello,

Im having an issue with my power windows, and sunroof not working. Now, Ive checked the fuses and managed to get them working for like 5 minutes. Check both the sunroof and the power windows fuse and they all work fine. Has anyone had a similar issue with this? I dont think its the motors because none of the windows or sunroof work. If you need my vin number I can provide it to you.

Go back to the fuse box with a test light. On the fuses for windows and sunroof be sure there is voltage present on both sides of the fuse with the key on. I have seen all to many times the fuse makes no connection inside the fuse box and things stop working.If you have to remove the box and probe that power is going through on the backside of those fuses also. Seeing as you fiddled with fuses and they worked 5 minutes seems to indicate its a possible connection issue at the fuse box.

I know there might be a fuse issue and or a relay issue but I dont have the wiring diagram for my car and per the fuse box the only fuse i found for sun roof i dont know what the power windows fuse is located. Some people say that the 2001 a4 didnt have a fuse in the normal fuse box that it was controlled by a relay. Do you know how I can get a print out of my wiring diagram for my vehicle?
