225/45/18... from a 205/55/16 will this change the over all diameter of the wheel???

I like how my car looks just the way it is ;-)

I'm not sure what effect the flexing of fender metal has on the paint. The added strain may make it more prone to peeling, I don't know. I may be wrong here.

Why not just stay with 225/40/18 which is the correct size anyway?

How much wheel gap do you have right now?
