Is 3M Finesse-it Finishing material (polish) suitable for application by hand?

Is 3M Finesse-it Finishing material (polish) suitable for application by hand?
Is it good for a polish prior to laying down a coat of wax or is it too harsh for weekly/monthly use?

to abrasive, don't use it
The only two 3M products someone who is inexperienced with detailing should use are 3M Imperial Hand Glaze and 3M Swirl Mark Remover. Finesse-It is the next level beyond SMR in abrasiveness and you CAN do some damage with it if you have never uesd it before.
IHG/SMR are certainly products you should NOT use weekly or even monthly. They are 2x a year type products, as long as you maintain good wax.
P21S Gloss Enhancing Paint Cleanser is a good polish. This should be only necessary every few months if desired.
