Default 3M Imperial Hand Glaze has made a believer out of me!

Paint looks better than new and it took out most of the annoying swirls that were present. Now I'll really be able to tell how well this Meguiars Gold Class wax works. I've only waxed it once and it looked pretty nice, but I think I'm going the 1 Grand Blitz route next time.

Default Yup, it's good stuff

You might want to figure out where the swirl marks are coming from and try to minimize them. If you're a DIY detailer, check your sponge/wash mitt and your chamois/drying towel.

Default I took delivery about two months ago. I thought about having the dealer do it (per the TSB)

but it's something I'd rather do myself. In other words, I didn't trust them to car enough about it to do a good job. I generally wash in a side to side motion and try to check the condition of my wash mitt to make sure there are no particles. I use the chamois as a sort of squeegee and "pull" the water off without any wiping patterns. Thanks for the advice, though. If you know how often I should really change the mitt, please let me know. This car is officially my baby and you can bet I'll take care of it well.

Already discussed I'm sure, but how soon after taking delivery would you recommend applying a wax?

Default I believe the paint is cured enough to wax right away.

I think a standard is 2 months and it takes about that long for the car to get over here.
