it was all about $$$.
i wasn't even looking for wheels. i was gonna get new tires for my stock wheels and then these came up for sale by another AWer. even though one wheel is scraped, i could't pass up $750 for wheels and tires.

whatever you do...
don't get the new techno's. I heard they're crap, but then again I didn't know they're forged. The only thing I heard is that they're heavy and NOT made out of magnesium, but usually forged rims aren't too heavy. Anyhow, they're not the same company as the ones mine were made from.

yeah, the Pes rims are made by Mim wheels new owners of the new tecnos. i guess pictures look good, but i wonder about build quality.
