I know I need to replace the timing belt. What else do I need to buy for the 60K service interval? Also what do I need to inspect? Thanks

when i was at 60K i do:
1. tbelt project, replace all the following:
- tbelt
- tensioner puley
- idler puley
- thermostat
- waterpump
- serpentine belt
2. transaxle fluid
- drain fluid, replace
use only audi's fluid $14 /liter
- differential fluid, check level and add
use mobil1 is ok.
- replace transaxle gasket container (01N axle).
get part number from audi.
3. oil change PLUS filter change
use syntehetic oil 10W-30 (mobil 1)
filter is MANN made in germany
4. coolant flush and replace
Use audi coolant, 12$ per gallon
5. fuel filter change
Use audi's cannot remeber part # though. Sorry
6. Air conditioner re charge on R134a
Dont do at dealer, do atr an independent shop
Must use filler rmachine
7. brake job,
- change rotor to slotted
- pads
- brake fluid replace (including bleeding)
These are quite extensive, i know.
BUT, better save than sorry, i think.
I am saving some money for
oxygen sensors change. My VAG says 'oxygen sensr respons are slow". Looking around 200 - 300 more dollars i think. Going to do this next month or two.
If you can afford all together,
do all same time. If not, do it step by step.
But most important for 1.8 turbo engine is to do the TIMING BELT and friends..(see #1 above)
good luck!
