7 month back log on TT

Here in the U.S., there are actually dealers with unsold TTs in their near-term allocation. The main reason is that very few Americans have seen or heard about this car. Very soon that will change.<p>On Feb. 20, I posted an e-mail that I received on the TT Forum entitled, "TT Review from a TT owner in France (very long)." Here are a few of his comments:<br> <br>"I love my car and all my friends want to seat inside and try it. You still need between 6 and 8 month to buy one and even longer for the quattro model...Already 2 people proposed me to buy my car from 3 to 4 000 US$ over the price I paid but I like it too much."<p>I think that once the American public gets a load of this car and the very modest pricing (MSRP of $30,500 per JimH, which is less than most of Europe), we will have the same waiting lists here or worse. If you like the TT, put down a deposit before the advertising and invariable rush to buy occurs. <p><p>
