80mph in 65mph zone in NJ.
I know the fines are doubled. Anyone know if the points are doubled as well?
I was going pretty fast, definitely more than 80. By the time I see the trooper in front of me it was too late. I slammed on the brakes and by the time he slowed down next to me I was doing 55. He wrote on the ticket that he paced me. Can they technically pace me from the front?

agree....
I got paced and ticketed for 85 in a 45 work zone... at midnight on a tuesday... 4 lanes, interstate, no work being done, road already repaved...
lawyer got it to $100 fine and supervision, no conviction.
He cost me $250, but it was WELL worth it.
