which tire? i run a 225/40/18 GY F1 GS D3 and it provides plenty of lip protection for the wheel

so i'm content with 225's, it's not like i need to get the maximum amount of grip for the street, now if you were racing then you'd want to run wider.

depending on the tire, some run wider than others, and some are designed to provide lip protection

for the wheels
