95 Remote key work for 96 A4
I found someone selling a new one button remote key from a 95 audi. Will that work for my 96 A4? i used to have the old 2 button remote. They is a blank so I can get it cut.

I don't know if the metal key part is the same (two sided) as the 97's but I just upgraded to a
switchblade remote key. Just have to give the dealership your VIN and make sure you specify to order the switchblade key, and then get a used switchblade off of ebay or from me (I have an extra one).

Nope, wont work..
Theres two options for you.
1. Go to the dealer and pay big bucks for another remote and/or CLC unit.
2. Look in the tech section, someone reinstalled another aftermarket alarm w/ a remote.
Switchblade was never made for the 96.
