96 A4 Hitachi ECU tuning problems
Hi guys,
Has anyone had any experience or problems with trying to break the 200hp barrier with an early A4 1.8T (5 plug ECU)I think its a Hitachi Unit.
Do any of the Stateside tuners cater for this ECU?
Or has anybody successfully retro fitted the later 2 plug Bosch unit?
Any help greatly appreciated,if I dont sort this soon I think an M3 Evo is going to look sorely tempting(321bhp std in my neck of the woods)!!

I don't think the 1.8t ever had the Hitachi ECU in America....must have been Europe '96 only.
Which makes sense because the 2.8 over here had the Hitachi ECU in '96 only as well.
