97 suspension: red shocks in front, black in back?!

anyone else have this combo? 97 a4 1.8t q auto.

car was a nj audi execs car from what i can tell from the records. (leased)

Since both shocks fit the car, if the tech wasn't careful about getting the right part number, it's entire feasible they replaced the front shocks with sport shocks.

Either way, that is very strange to have a setup like that.
you may have sport springs all around, or maybe even stock springs, with sport shocks on the front only.
Are you planning on doing some swap?
