Default 98 2.8 quattro SHAKES WHEN PRESSING BRAKE AT CERTAIN HIGER SPEEDS!!! HELP!!!

My 98 2.8 quattro has been shaking at higher speeds when I normally press on the brake. Once it slows down enough it stops shaking. Its only at certain different speeds it does this. When my car was jacked up last I checked the front drivers side wheel by trying to jiggle it and it did have some play in one of the joints. Does that mean this joint is shot and needs to be replaced? The other side did not have this same play in the same joint when wiggled. Please help me guys! My car seems to be falling apart between this and the overheating/coolant leak problem I posted before this! AHHHHHH

Control arm(s). Look on the bright side that B5 arms are pretty cheap compared to other Audi's and a fairly easy DIY. Well, easy if the pinch bolt isn't frozen. Check Blau, ECS, and German auto for best prices.

Might consider doing a brake job too while your at it if yours are getting worn. Could be a warped rotor and/or buildup on the rotor causing some of the problem.

Yep, loose joint + warped rotor = shaky front end.

Where did you get the rotors? I bought some for my Range Rover off ebay and in 4 months had the same issue. Gues what warped rotors. Needless to say if buying on ebay make sure they are BREMBO not just what ever someone is selling. Just sayin. I would check and make sure. Jack the car up and give them a spin by hand. Also feel for grooves in the disc.
