Add me to the list of those with rusted mounting clips; molding on all 4 doors in various stages of decay. Dealer says not covered under rust perforation warranty. I don't want to pay the kind of money the dealer wants to replace with OEM, which will just rot again in a few years anyway. Looks like my options are to change to S4-type, or use TRIMGARD. Has anyone done TRIMGARD? I'm concerned that in New England, the winter slop will work its way into the scuff plate / inner door area because I'll be losing the feature of the OEM door moldings which overlapped the rocker panel. Is this an issue? Any other suggestions?

...$30/door isn't too bad, and I think your best bet is to stick with OEM. Who knows, maybe they've since redesigned the part to eliminate the rust "feature." But since you've got NE winters to worry about, I'd definitely say stick with OEM. Good luck
