Default 99.5 2.8 A4 - Location of fuel pump relay?
My engine wants to die when I start off, like it is fuel starved. It runs fine at RPM's above 1500, anything below that, and when I apply the gas, it sputters until I reach 1500 RPM's or so.

I have a replacement fuel filter and know where its location is at but maybe its the fuel pump relay.

Can anyone tell me the location of the fuel pump relay?

iirc the relay is actually inside the tank.

Default IMO it isn't very likely to be the pump relay. If the car idles the pump is running. I'd be more in-
clined to think you have a vacuum leak and/or a bad coolant temperature sensor that is causing the stumbles off idle.

Likewise, if it runs at WOT it isn't likely to have anything to do with the filter.

if it were lack of fuel it'll be worst at higher rpms
